• Change the pipe opening with your finger.
• Use a piece of tape to close up the opening of the pipe.
  Dry the pipe thoroughly beforehand so that the tape sticks.
  Test whether the pipe is now water tight.
  Now you can make a small hole in the tape and test out the water jet.
  Try changing the size of the hole.

• Stick a piece of a drinking straw into the pipe. Wrap a piece of tape around the drinking straw in order to make sure it stays in place.
• Fold the drinking straw, cut off the corner and fix the folded bit with tape. Now cut off the point to change the size of the opening.

• You can test how well your water spectacle works using air before you put water into the system, by blowing air through the nozzle.
  
  
• Your workplace won't get as wet if you put the lid of a cardboard box in a plastic bag to form a basin. (e.g. all purpose bag 30x45 cm).

• Cut off the bottom of the bottle. In this way you can work inside the bottle. The bottom will be stuck back on again at the end.
• The yellow drinking straw has a hole in the middle bigger than the pin. It rests on the pin head and turns slightly.
• The pin stays in place because it is sticking into the bottle.
• Make a small hole in the upper side of the bottle and mark it with a pen. Why do you think?
